• Objective: To promote classical guitar by:
• Organising concerts; master - classes; festivals and various other events
of a musical nature that places at the forefront the classical guitar.
• To support already existing Montreal based organizations.
• To pay tribute to local and international pioneers.
• To support up-coming talent.

Concerts and master classes
An annual program of professional concerts spotlights national and internationally known guitarists.
Open mike
Informal concerts in front of an audience ; in an informal and relaxed setting. These concerts are geared to all guitarists regardless of their level.

Guitar orchestra
The amateur orchestra evolves in a climate of simplicity and conviviality.
Guitarists of all levels are welcome.

The SGM is a non-profit organisation and recognised as a charitable institution.
For all donations over 50$ , the SGM will issue a receipt for tax purposes.
